Serving the Community
Major Disruptions to Village
If you'd like to speak someone face to face about residential issues or just anything pertaining to the village or about becoming a Councillor yourself........ The Parish Clerk, Tony Wood is at the Pavilion on Bridges every Monday & Wednesday 10 -12 (NB Changed from Thursdays)
The Book Exchange has been inundated and although there has been a refresh of those on the shelves, there is not much room for any more. If you know of anyone who could use our surplus books for a community project, we are happy to pass them on, but for the foreseeable future we will only be accepting up to 5 good condition books per visit on the proviso that you are also taking a few away.
If you have issues with, or spot a problem with the roads in the area, particularly potholes, please report directly to Lancashire Country Council. (It is always helpful to provide photos and exact locations to them)
