Email from Mark Southhall - Highways Engineer Lancashire County Council
Update on works in Warton 23-02-2024
Surfacing works will be starting on Monday 26th February.
From Monday 26th February to Wednesday 6th March Church Lane and Harbour Lane will be
closed. This is to allow the northern side of Lytham Road, a short section of Church Road
and a short section of Harbour Lane to be surfaced.
From Friday 8th March to Friday 15th March Highgate Lane will be Closed. This is to allow the
southern side of Lytham Road and a short section of Highgate Lane to surfaced.
Lytham Road will remain open throughout the surfacing works.
Works remaining, will be the laying of the anti-skid surface (which cannot be laid until three
weeks after the surfacing), the erection of the remaining road signs, the road markings, and
the commissioning of the new traffic signals. I expect this work to be completed by the end of
April.
There are additional notice of future closures on Church Road/Harbour Lane
