COMMUNITY INITIATIVE TO MAKE WARTON BLOOM 

 

A community volunteer group called Bloomin’ Warton was formed at the beginning of 2015 with the aim of making our village blossom again this year.

To ensure a grand floral display that would improve the look and feel of the village for young and old alike, with lots of hanging baskets, barrels and large flower beds were planted out – and maintained by our volunteers.

Many members and residents sponsoring a council barrel, planting, watering and maintaining the plants throughout the summer.
